Noah Zimmerman showed me something kind of shady. Back in 2008, he published a paper with David Chen and Chirag Patel where they introduced a website (http://www.inherithealth.com/) for allowing people to enter their family history and automatically assess their risk for inherited disease (with a focus on breast cancer). The paper: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2655935/
In 2010, some people down in LA started: http://inheritedhealth.com/
where you can “Build your family health history online and Inherited Health will assess your risk for more than 250 diseases”. Anything look familiar about that?
